The battery died yesterday and when we went to connect the jumper cables to the 4runner’s battery the alarm goes off and doesn’t stop going off until you disconnect the cables. How do you stop this from happening? We tried disconnecting the horn fuse and it still kept going.

I’ve read about dealers having a $35,000+ charger in some of their auto shops to charge a hybrid. Usually I return home at a 30% charge or less and wonder if someone made a charger for the public at a more realistic price?
