Is there such thing as an outlet that will run off a battery for a good amount of time, not a generator just running off battery.

the solar panel has two alligator clamps (like jumper cables) at the end, I guess to charge a battery. I guess I need some device I can hook the alligator clamps to that has a 115V plug on the other end I can plug the battery charger into? Is there more to it than that?
Would a rechargeable battery discharge if left in the charger unplugged from an outlet?

I don’t know if i got cheap rechargeable AA batteries or not but they seem to discharge fast when i left them in the 4 port charger when i brought it along with me unplugged. the charger claims to have the automatic turn off when fully charged (while plugged in).
Are there retailers that carry a 12 volt battery charger that is powered by a car DC outlet?
I have a dead rechargeable battery. Can I plug this into a wall outlet temporarily?

I have a 2005 Suzuki gsxr-600 with a weak battery still attached with the terminals on the bike and want to find out if I have to take it out to charge it with a battery charger or can I leave it in while its charging with the charger terminals. Thanks, MC
