sometimes it start on a dime and other times it wont say nothing but after a few key turns it start.i replaced the starter,alternator and battery all 3 is new.the charging is only charging to 12 volts the tester said bad voltage regulator so i replaced the regulator on the alternator but the same problems [...]

This is a 1990 f600 ford 6 cyl. diesel dump. It is not the alternator because I dissconnected the wires and the keys are out of the ignition. When I take an ohms tester with the battery dissconnected and take the positive and negative terminals which would connect to the battery I get a reading [...]

The battery on my 2003 Ford Thunderbird is dead. I’d like to use jumper cables, but I can’t find the battery. I suspect it may be in the trunk (along with the manual), but I can’t get the trunk open due to the dead battery. Any ideas?

battery has good power but will not start. engine turns over good. add cables from another car and it will start up. There is no reason for jumping cables to make a differance.
