A just bought a Minn Kota Riptide 45lb thrust trolling motor.What is the best charger to use to charge a deep cycle marine battery,I hear there are types that you just leave the battery plugged into that maintain it but haven’t had any luck locating because I don’t understand exactally what I’m looking for.

I have a one-year-old Die Hard car battery that I want to recharge with a 10-amp wall battery charger. The charger has two settings: “conventional / low maintenance” and “no maintenance / deep cycle”. Which one should I use? What do the settings mean? Thanks!

I put the tester on it and it says 2/3 but I also heard your suppose to run a battery dead before charging so what should I do and is there anything wrong with charging a battery on carpet and can anything dangerous happening cause ive been reading stuff that it can explose and cause [...]

was charging fine before today, went out fishing and now got home to re-charger and its giving me the red light .. two possible reasons for the red light according to manuel is either reverse polarities or short circuit … i put the leads on correctly ( obviously) …any ideas?

have 2 lights I want to hook up to my boat. each one draws 5.5 amps. The batteries they are going to be hooked up to are two 12 volt deep cycle batteries linked with a jumper, thus making them 24 volt. how long would the lights run before drawing all of the batteries’ power?

As an oldie I am finding my vehicle batteries fail prematurely because of lack of use – I need a device that cycles a battery through charge/discharge and thus prevent sulphation and overcharging
