1 Note about this product that bugged me was the amount of Boxes it came in.

Quite literally, it came in a box (the products actual box), that was in a box of the same size, that was in a box that was a little bigger, that was in a much bigger box.

Now to the product. I do not blame this product for my constant dead battery. However, I do feel this should have worked, and was rather disappointed after I still need a jump after this failed to jump-start my car.

We (me and my gf) read the instructions VERY closely. The instructions were clear, but I felt they could have been a little more detailed. We tried it, and my car didn’t start but felt like it almost could of. Waited, like instructed, then tried it again. Same result. As this point the battery was drained (was in the yellow). This was a 30 mins ordeal before i just asked a stranger for a jump

NOTE:: This was charged and stated it was full when this happened.

I have not had a second to try it so far now i will give this product a low rating for failing to do what it advertised.

This little jump starter does work. I’ve used it twice so far to start my Grand Marquis when the battery was almost completely drained. You need to have a very good connection for the ground or it will pop when you crank the engine. It took me a couple tries to find a good spot.

This thing is completely useless out of the box without a power cord. Someone mentioned using a computers power supply cord but that does not work. Maybe the unit has changed, I tried 5 or so different computer cords and none of them would fit. So make sure you get an extension cord.

After the first use it started acting strange with the lights (showing red + green) so I just pressed the reset button a few times and let it recharge overnight and everything was back to normal.

I give it 4 stars because it is so small and starts my V8, if it came with a power cord it would get 5.

Bought this product a few years ago when AAA said I used up my allotment of free service calls. It was then called a “Mighty Mite” but everything else is virtually the same. This little jump starter did the trick when I needed it and helped a few other stranded motorists along the way too.

Starting from the shipping, it was fast and in as-is condition as on the add. I used this little starter may be more than 5 times in the last couple of months and it works like a champ, my car starts within 15 seconds of charging it. So, I really recommend this product for others, and I am thinking to have one for my sis as well.

Seems pretty good. It’s pretty small, and you need an extension cord if you want to plug it in. I ended up putting a 3 prong to 2 prong adapter on it, because the end of my extension cord couldn’t fit in the little recessed area that has the 2 prongs. But the lights light up telling you what it’s doing, and i have some piece of mind that I can jump start my heart if i ever accidentally drain it. Also, i kept it unplugged for a month, and i think that it kept its full charge.
