I have just purchased this item and tried the plug in for using it in the car. The male/female plug in are incorrect sizes so the car adapter will not work at all.
Next I plugged into the wall to charge my batteries, the light stays red on both of them, it doesn’t seem to charge for me. On the back of the charger it says to refer to the manual, NO manual was provided. I got the battery to work in my camera but went dead after a short time and have no idea if I am able to charge using this device or not. For what I see it isn’t worth the money! Doesn’t seem to charge correctly and the car accessory won’t work. I also purchased two batteries so I have the second one in right now.

I don’t possess Kodak CRV3 Lithium ion K8000-C 1600 micro Ampere hours batteries but I do have four similar CRV3 Lithium ion 2000 micro Ampere hours batteries that were quite a bit cheaper than the much lesser rated Kodak K8000-C batteries. I use these batteries in a Kodak Easyshare Z1485 camera and the batteries work very well in the camera. The charger fully charges the batteries quite quickly and like Kodak batteries the batteries that I have contain circuitry to stop charging when a battery is fully charged so that the battery won’t overheat or ruin.

I have used this internationally on several trips – works like it should, the non-kodak batteries hold their charge and also work as expected. Both products from this vendor (batteries and charger) were purchased at a fraction of what the Kodak product would cost – Excellent Value!
I waited awhile (over a year) before writing this review in order to see how the product performed. I also saw mixed reviews when I made my purchase. I wasn’t sorry for my decision – as stated above – the product has performed flawlessly since I put into use. Because of the value, over the Kodak stock item, I would buy again and save money!

This charger compares with the Kodak charger at about 1/4 the price. There’s not much to say. It turns on when charging and automatically turns off when the battery is charged and the LED changes from flashing to off when its done. Does the job. I think shipping is more than the actual price. It is NOT Kodak brand but charged my non-Kodak battery. Its nice to know that standards are followed.
